Christians need to wake up and be different.  The Bible says that we are to be “in the world, but not of the world” (ref) and that means we were to be present here but not look like it.  It (the Bible) also says that if we are truly a born again believe like Nicodemus (ref) then we are to be a peculiar people; that means we are to look, act, and be different from the crowd.  In other words, to be Christian we are to be like Christ, showing his love, is admonition for God the Father, and obeying God’s law, living in obedience and carrying out His objective of witnessing to the world and standing out from among the crowd.  So, how about this Christmas and New Year live different.

First of all, your nation’s government does not like God.  They have removed Him and His law from their courts, from their money, from their schools, and from their ideals and philosophy, including Christmas and Easter marketing (i.e. no more Merry Christmas but instead Happy Holidays.  What holiday?  Without Christmas there is no holiday; the 25^th of December is just a fantasy day of a Santa Claus.  Without Christ’s burial and resurrection there is NO Easter holiday, just a fantasy day of an Easter Bunny.  And, without the Pilgrims worshipping and thanking God on Thanksgiving for their founding of a new land in which to worship without religious persecution, there would be NO Thanksgiving.

Therefore, cancel all that spending at Christmas.  The stores don’t believe in it, just you economics.  Give staple gifts and gifts of home making and of special non expensive nature.  Don’t be part of the world but peculiar and worship God instead.  He is the one that gave the gift for all mankind and He is the one to give a gift to.  Give instead one gift to your child, family, and friends that is of reasonable use and purpose but give it with worship to Him who is about giving; but most important show your love which is the reason for the gift.

Don’t get caught up and be part of the world to help them fund homosexual agendas and more resources to fight our God, but instead reduce their income by showing them that you stand for God and since they don’t, you are removing your wealth from their bank account.

Moreover, write your congressmen and demand that if the government does not recognize Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving as religious holidays, and since that supporting fantasy holidays would be ludicrous for a government endorsed holiday, then all government offices, local, state, and federal, should be open for business as usual and all people’s have to work.  Moreover, since these would no longer be holidays then union’s need to take those days from the overtime pay and benefit profiles in union agreements.

If you are Christian then stand up for Christ and be LIKE Him.
